Governor Martz Asks Attorney General to Represent the State

Governor Martz has asked Attorney General Mike McGrath and her Chief Legal Counsel to file a Request for Party in Interest on behalf of the State of Montana with the Bankruptcy Court in the matter pertaining to NorthWestern's recent Chapter 11 filing.

"There are many issues in this bankruptcy that will affect various state agencies and it is critical that the state has a coordinated response. I look forward to working closely with the Attorney General to assure all that the interests of the Montana consumer and the state will be fully represented in these proceedings."
